Our Result: A neatly presented property with an average net return of $3500 each month



This client reached out to Johannes in hopes of improving the flexibility of his property and generating extra revenue each month. As a builder, the client often travels around NSW for work, staying at his own property when he is in Sydney. We needed to improve the flexibility of the property’s booking calendar and ensure clear communication with guests.


The client is also an artist by hobby, and creates paintings and sculptures. When we first met the client, the property was overcrowded and needed to be organised to a presentable state. It needed a lot of cleaning to remove dust and grit that had accumulated over the years. There are a total of three bedrooms, however, only one was set up as a bedroom.



We focused on updating the following areas:

Furniture

We worked with the client to renovate and install fresh furniture in two of the bedrooms so that the property could sleep a total of six guests.


Cleaning

Over a number of days, our cleaners worked their magic through the property.


Artwork

Working with our amazing photographer, we positioned the client’s artwork around the property for maximum effect


Calendar Adjustments

We opened the booking calendar into three-month blocks, giving the client flexibility to plan his time around his work.


So, what’s the outcome?


The property is now clean and fresh for guests and the client. This is something that the client truly enjoys as he has such a busy life - not having to worry about cleaning is a massive help.


The client’s artwork is neatly showcased around the property, adding unique touches to the property.


The property is worth approximately $880 per week on the rental market and is averaging $3500 net return to the client per month, and is being used as an Airbnb for 65% of the month.
